Starting in 2007, the foest expo has been the result of a collaboritive effort to bring together 6th graders from Priest River Elementary, and Newport Elementary and teach them about different aspects of the forest, wildlife, weather, and stream quality. In 2021 we decided to bring only the 6th and 7th graders from Priest River due to the fact that Newport couldnt release there students due to Covid restrictions, but we look forward to having them back in the near future.
